Kentucky Ranks #1 Among Cancer Deaths
The cancer death rate in America is declining. A new national cancer study looks at the numbers between 2002 and 2004. It shows the cancer death rate decreasing. Everyone seems so concern about the pay out Social Security will have to start paying out to the "baby boomer", no one was worrying when they were paying in at a record pace, just inventing more ways to spent it, on every social program they could dream up, so now "PAY UP".

Our legislators need to be a little more proactive on public health in this state. Cigarette taxes are too low, and we need some kind of state wide smoking ban. We're behind most other states in both of these areas. That's a large part of the reason for Kentucky having the worst cancer rate in the nation.
