Senate Leaders Speak at U of L

Two Senate leaders spent Oct. 15 at the University of Louisville, encouraging young people to pursue education and public service careers.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell both gave speeches at the school in a rare joint appearance.

Senator McConnell addressed the spirit of mutual trust and cooperation in the Senate, which is what he says keeps it working.

The senators finished off the morning by answering student's questions.
