A northeastern Kentucky woman enters an Alford plea in connection with the death of her 18-month-old son.
Toni Barber of Flemingsburg entered a plea to one count each of second-degree manslaughter and second-degree criminal abuse.
Barber was arrested last November following the death of her son Kaleb Davis.
Davis was found dead inside a van near the family's home in August 2006.
Barber's daughter, was also found inside the van, but was unharmed.
As part of the plea, Barber will serve seven years on the manslaughter charge and two years on the criminal abuse.
The two sentences will run concurrently.
