Recently, Kentucky's Tourism office launched the "Kentucky Unbridled Adventure" Campaign in hopes of increasing popularity of Kentucky's many outdoor activities. Here in Bowling Green, there’s an "adventure" store that has just opened it's doors.

You name an outdoor sport and Bowling Green's new Gander Mountain probably has the equipment for it.
"There's products for hunting, fishing, camping and hiking, “ explained James Lee, with Gander Mountain.
And the list goes on.
Lee said it’s been a great start for the store.
"Since day one, the community has been very welcoming of us. We've had a ton of folks come in already," Lee said.
That kind of welcome has caught the attention of Camping World founder, David Garvin.
Drive just 15 minutes south on Interstate-65 and you're sure to see the 850 acres of Garvin's Development.
It's the future home of "Garvin's R-V Park" and David is hopeful to bring a Cabela's to Franklin.
He thinks Gander Mountain will do well and it’ll help get Cabela's to Kentucky.
That possibility doesn't shake Lee.
"We're not really too concerned--we welcome the competition. We do have the lowest prices around and we do pride ourselves on our service and our all local employees. So we're not only really happy to be here, but we welcome the competition as well," Lee assured.
Gander Mountain's grand opening is Oct. 19-21.
It will include a virtual bass fishing tournament and a free concert by John Michael Montgomery.
