A marina along Wolf Creek and the Cumberland River is asking for a new location because of lower lake levels.
Alligator One Marina in Russell Springs has requested to move up to the Cave Springs recreation area.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is evaluating the impact of the move.
Marina owners all over the lake have been feeling the effects of lower lake levels, largely due to the lake being lowered by more than 40 feet earlier this year to reduce stress on a weakening Wolf Creek Dam.
Things should improve when lake levels are raised early next year and 300 million dollars in improvements to the dam continue to be made.
