Democratic gubernatorial candidate Steve Beshear made a stop in Bowling Green on Oct. 20, as part of his statewide rally before the election on November 6.
The theme of the rally is "Let's Work Together."
Beshear and running-mate Dan Mongiardo came to Beech Bend Park to give South-Central Kentuckians a message about their political agenda.
Speaker of the House Jody Richards was present at the event, as well as several other Democratic candidates seeking office in November.
Beshear is traveling to 10 areas throughout Kentucky in October.
"Every area of the state is important to Steve Beshear and that's why we've decided to travel around the state to get the message out," assured Jennifer Moore, with the Kentucky Democratic Party.
Beshear's next stop is in Paducah on October 23, followed by stops in Somerset, Louisville, Lexington and Owensboro.
