What would Halloween be without a few good scares here and there?
With the spooky night just a few days away, we decided to visit Skeleton's Lair Haunted Woods for this scary Oct. 29 edition of Adventures in Kentucky.
Chainsaws, screaming and fictional killers. These are just a few of the sights and sounds you'll experience if you visit Skeleton's Layer Haunted Woods on any October evening.
Outside the gates of the lair, who knows what may be inside?
I was too scared to take on this adventure alone, so I asked fellow co-anchor Tamara Evans to tag along.
Plus, I needed someone to handle all of the screaming.
On the way in, I ran into a familiar face from a movie--Beetle Juice.
So on we went. It was very dark and it appeared we were all alone--or so we thought.
Into the mausoleum, we have no idea what to expect about what could be inside--it's very dark though.
To get out of the Haunted Woods we had to walk through a haunted graveyard.
Tamara definitely didn't seem too thrilled about this.
I didn't make it out without a little scare of my own either
But we made it outside of Skeleton's Lair alive, for another Adventures in Kentucky.
If you're brave enough to visit Skeleton's Lair yourself, they'll be open Oct. 29-31 from 6:30 to 10 p.m.
