Thirty-year-old Michael Allen Tanner is charged with first degree Rape and Sodomy, Robbery, and Burglary. Thirty-one-year-old Dennis Edward Phelps is charged with first degree Robbery and Burglary, and complicity to Rape and Sodomy.
The men are accused of breaking into a Hadley woman's home June 23, throwing her to the floor, beating and kicking her, tying her up, and raping her. Their bonds are set at $50,000 each.
