There were showers of a different kind Friday morning -- showers of blessings!
Little ones at St. Joseph School in Bowling Green flocked outside to bless their pets in recognition of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron Saint of animals and creation.
The children were encouraged to bring their pets, of all kinds, to school Friday. The blessing helps show the kids their pets are important.
