Warren Central High School Junior ROTC Honors Veterans

Veteran's Day is Sunday, but Warren Central High School honored our veterans a little earlier.

This year, the Junior ROTC held a special ceremony remembering our prisoners of war and those missing in action from previous military conflicts.

The empty chairs at the table represent the five services.

The inverted glasses represent the military personnel not here to toast with us.

"American military personnel represent liberty and freedom to the oppressed peoples around the world and they ensure our liberty and freedom here at home and abroad. That's why I think it's very important to honor and remember our veterans, because they've given so much and sacrificed so much," said Chief Warrant Officer 3 Keith Murphy, senior Army instructor for the Junior ROTC.

The Junior ROTC at Warren Central High School honors our military personnel every Veterans Day.
