Plea Agreement May Be Imminent in Caudill DUI Case

WBKO has learned that a plea agreement may be imminent in the DUI case against Warren County's former County Attorney Mike Caudill.

Caudill was charged with driving under the influence in June after his truck plowed through a field in rural Warren County. Caudill is also under investigation by the Public Corruption Unit of the Attorney General's Office following allegations he misspent public funds while County Attorney.

Caudill has been hospitalized at the Medical Center since October 14th following a stroke, and is awaiting open heart surgery. Mr. Caudill was set to appear Thursday in court on the DUI charge, but that appearance has been postponed.

Sources tell WBKO that due in part to his health, a plea agreement may be imminent in the DUI case against Caudill.
