Several Ford Plants Vote for New UAW Agreement

It appears that Ford workers across the country are following in Louisville' s footsteps.

Several plants have voted strongly in favor of a new labor agreement with United Auto Workers.

In Louisville, about 80-percent of production workers and 75-percent of skilled trade workers voted "yes."

The new contract contains a pledge that a new vehicle will be manufactured at the Louisville assembly plant by 2009, where the Ford Explorer is built.
