Bowling Green's city commission approved a tax incentive package on Tuesday night that will pave the way for a new business to relocate to the area.
Retail Logic Inc. will bring 340 jobs and an estimated $33 million in payroll investments over the next five years. The new business will occupy an abandoned building in the "Scotty's Industrial Park" on Louisville Road.
To lure Retail Logic to town, the city will allow the company to keep three-quarters of their occupational tax dues over the next five years, a tradeoff Mayor Jones and commissioners say is well worth the new jobs investment.
