Travel was no problem for Santa Claus to make an early visit to several eastern Kentucky children this weekend.
Hundreds of kids and their families grabbed handfuls of candy and got a glimpse at Santa Claus, as the train made its 65th annual trip.
The "Santa Train" started it's journey in Pike County and made several stops in the mountains delivering more than 15-tons of Christmas gifts.
This year, Pike County native and country-star Patty Loveless rode the train for the third time.
The Santa Train is free for all and has become a tradition for many families of eastern Kentucky.
