A record number of shoeboxes filled with Christmas cheer are on their way to children around the world.
"Operation Christmas Child" is a shoebox ministry that helps children dealing with war, poverty and natural disasters.
Many of these children have never received Christmas presents.
The shoeboxes are filled with toys and hygiene products.
This week, churches and agencies from across the region brought more than 12,400 boxes to Forrest Park Baptist Church.
That's at least 1500 more than last year.
The boxes are headed to a processing center to be inspected for safety before being shipped out to 90 different countries.
