Mischief started early this Thanksgiving break as someone fired shots into the downtown Bowling Green Post Office.
Bowling Green police say just after 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 21, someone shot at the door to the post office on East Eleventh Street.
Post Master Ray Lackey says the criminal mischief will be investigated through the postal service as well as police.
"This is a 24 hour lobby where people walk in and out. It's an inconvenience for our customers, we have to order a new window for the door," Lackey said.
Lackey says police told him another building was shot three blocks away prior to the post office shooting.
The incident is believed to be a drive-by.
