An early morning fire claims the lives of a family in Estill County, Kentucky.
The blaze broke out around 1 a.m. early Nov. 27.
Neighbors noticed the fire and called 911.
They also rushed to the home to check on the family, but the flames were so intense there was nothing they could do.
"She looked up towards the door and there was a big light. She opened the door and it was just gone. She got me up and I jumped on my four-wheeler and ran over, and there was nothing nobody could do then. It was unreal," explained neighbor Orvall Hardy.
People who know the family say it was a husband and wife who have a son and daughter, ages seven and five.
An investigation into what caused the deadly fire is underway, but state police say they do not suspect foul play.
