Bowling Green police are still looking for answers in the burglary of local auto detail shop. Back on December 10, 2004 burglars forced their way into Deluxe Detail in the 1700 block of Scottsville Road. More than $20,000 in tools and equipment were taken from the business.
Stolen items include halogen work lights, a jump-starter, buffer/polishers, a red air compressor, a gas-powered scooter, and a large red Snap-On toolbox full of tools.
Since then, someone has called the Bowling Green Police Department and left a message saying they know where the tools are. But no other information was given.
Police are urging that person, or any others with information about this burglary to call Crime Stoppers at 781-CLUE.
