Local Reaction to Washington D.C. Sniper

How is the sniper situation outside Washington D.C. affecting us here in south central Kentucky?

Officer Barry Pruitt, Bowling Green Police Department, says they have not received any concerned callers.

But out on the street, south central Kentuckians are talking about their fears.

Eric Effelson says, "It's scary to think that a killer is out there. I hope the police catch him."

WKU professor psychology professor, Dr. Bill Pfohl says fear is natural, but don't let your feelings get the best of you.
