Gov. Paul Patton still says he will not resign, even though he faces investigations on three different fronts.

A State Ethics Commission voted yesterday to examine whether Patton's personal interest conflicted with his public duties. The Commission's Chairwoman says it will complete the probe jointly with the F.B.I. and Attorney General Ben Chandler.

Tina Conner is suing Patton for sexual harassment. She claims Patton assisted the businesses she owned during their two-year affair.

She says he then turned on her when she ended the affair by turning regulators loose on her nursing home.
