A Powell County officer killed in the line of duty was honored Dec. 10 at a toy drive he helped start.
The annual "Shop with a Cop" program was created by Clay City Police Chief Randy Lacy.
130 kids were chosen to get Christmas toys.
In the past, only 100 kids got to go on the shopping spree.
Thirty more got the chance to holiday shop this year due to donations made in Chief Lacy's name.
Lacy had served 22 years on the force when he was killed by James Barnett Jr. last June.
