Police in Colorado say the man who killed four people at a church and missionary training center, died of a self-inflicted shotgun wound.
An earlier report credited a security guard with averting a greater tragedy by shooting the gunman after he entered the Colorado Springs Church.
Now, a county coroner's office concluded after an autopsy, that Matthew Murray was shot multiple times by the security officer at New Life Church Dec. 9, but died after firing a single shot at himself.
The first attack took place at a training center for missionaries, from which Murray had been removed a few years ago.
