Nyloncraft to Close Bowling Green Plant

A Bowling Green plant that makes components for Ford is in the process of closing for good.

Nyloncraft announced in October, the Bowling Green facility would close by February, putting a total of 70 people out of work.

The company is a parts and components maker for Ford, Firestone and others in the automobile industry.

The Bowling Green facility opened in 1988, but is now closing to allow Nyloncraft to continue to be successfu in the extremely competitive automotive and transporation markets.

The closing is being done in phases through February.
