The chairman of Waltex Incorporated announced Tuesday that the company will build a 20,000 square foot facility in the South Central Kentucky Industrial Park.
The new industry will employ 35 people with an estimated payroll of $1.3 million. Bowling Green Mayor Sandy Jones said her trip to Japan helped Bowling Green land the new jobs by keeping the relationship with the company.
Waltex manufactures automated welding equipment for the automotive industry.
