Employees of a Bowling Green company are doing their part to make Christmas a little brighter for several area children.
Scott Waste Company is donating 100 brand new bikes and helmets to the Salvation Army to be given to less fortunate children this year.
Scott Waste employees donated money for the bikes and the company matched them dollar-for-dollar.
Bike campaign chairperson Marlissa Smith says it's a good feeling, helping others during the holidays.
"It's good to know that a kid will get something we gave them, so they won't be without this year," Smith said.
Like several toys, assembly was required, so the Scott Waste employees assembled all 100 bikes.
