Eastern Kentucky did see some snowy conditions Dec. 16, that left many people frustrated both on the road and at home.
The Highway Department worked throughout the morning salting potentially slick roads.
911 dispatchers in multiple counties reported several closed roads due to downed trees and power lines.
More than a dozen homes in Lee County also lost power.
A worker with Jackson Energy said they believed the source of the outage was a tree that fell on a power line.
