No Kill Shelter Could Have to Close Its Doors

By  |

It's barely more than a year old, but the Humane Society's new No Kill Shelter may have to close down if it doesn't get in better financial shape soon.

Director Lori Hare says between the shelter seeing a dramatic increase in the number of animals being brought in, and the operational costs which are thousands of dollars each month, the adequate funding just isn't available.

Hare says they are asking the community to please pitch in and help. Any and all donations are being accepted, both monetary and otherwise. If you'd like to make a donation, please contact the Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society at (270) 842-8572.
