A Fort Campbell soldier has been indicted on charges of vehicular homicide and drunk driving from a car crash in September, where his SUV collided with another car, killing the driver who was a fellow soldier.
Authorities say 22-year-old James Logsdon crossed the center line of Tiny Town Road striking the vehicle driven by 23-year-old James Lockwood.
Lockwood died at the scene.
According to the arrest warrant, Logsdon smelled of alcohol -- and told police he had been drinking beer at his residence.
James Lockwood was scheduled to be deployed to Iraq the following week.
