Funeral arrangements are set for an official for Logan and Todd Counties, who died suddenly Dec. 26 of a heart attack.
52-year-old Charles Orange was the Commonwealth attorney for Logan and Todd Counties.
He had just begun his second six-year term in office.
Logan County's coroner says Orange called 911 a little before 8:00 a.m. saying he had shortness of breath.
He collapsed, and when EMS arrived on the scene he was pronounced dead.
Those that knew him say this is a tough loss.
"He just was a great guy. Everyone knew him. Everyone thought a lot of him. I can truly say he's the type of person who will give you the shirt off his back. He would truly do anything for anyone," said Kristy Vick-Stratton, Orange's former co-worker.
Visitation for Orange will begin tomorrow after 5:30 p.m. at the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel.
Visitation will continue Saturday, Dec. 29 beginning at 9 a.m. at Chandlers Chapel United Methodist Church in Auburn.
Orange's funeral will be held at the church at 11 a.m., with his burial to follow in the Chandlers Cemetery.
