Kentucky State Police are investigating an abuse case involving an infant that took place in Hart County last week.
On December 20, Hart County Child Services reported that a four-month-old boy had been admitted to the TJ Samson Hospital in Glasgow.
The child suffered from a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain.
He was later flown to Kosair's Childrens Hospital in Louisville, where he underwent surgery.
Kentucky State Police are looking into the possibility of foul play.
