Visitor's Flock To Ford Museum On Anniversary

Dozens of patrons visited former President Gerald Ford's Museum on the anniversary of his death.

Museum officials say attendance at the museum has doubled since Ford died.

Recent biographies about Ford also helped increase attendance as many viewed him as an ordinary honest man who enjoyed quiet times with his family in Grand Rapids and at his ranch in California.

Ford was buried at the museum in his native Grand Rapids after funerals in California and in Washington DC.
