Kentucky Police Officers Out In Full Force For New Year's Weekend

Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement Officers are stepping up policing efforts this holiday season.

They say they will be out in full force this New Year's weekend, looking for all violations of the law.

They remind drivers if you're out traveling, avoid making quick lane changes and driving recklessly.

This can cause semi's and passenger vehicles to react causing collisions.

Also remember to never tailgate, avoid staying to the left or right side of a semi for extended periods of time and don't drive impaired.

By following these rules of the road, you will help keep yourself and others safe.
