New Jersey Bans Internet Use For Sex Offenders On Parole

Some convicted sex offenders on parole will not be able to surf the web if they are in New Jersey.

On Dec. 27, the state's acting Governor Richard Codey signed into law a bill banning internet use for paroled convicts who used computers to commit their crimes.

A parole board spokesman says it's unclear how many offenders the new law will effect.
