Firefighters and investigators strongly suspect the fire that gutted an A-frame house at 3195 H. E. Johnson Road was a meth lab gone wrong.

Even as the last of the fire was being put out, sheriff's deputies arrested one of the house's occupants, 31-year old Kristi N. Gregory, was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

The homeowners' daughter says she didn't even know anyone had been living in the home since her parents moved out.

"I couldn't believe it. I heard it was meth or whatever, I couldn't believe it," says Holly Hinton, the homeowners' daughter.

"We've got some stuff in the house we're gonna look at, the firefighters found, and like I said most likely it's gonna be meth-related," says Warren County Sheriff's Deputy Keith White.

Investigators believe the homeowners discovered krisiti gregory living in their property last week.....and told her she had to leave.

Gregory told police she was moving out of the house when the fire started.

She is out of jail tonight and hasn't been charged in connection with the fire, but investigators say they strongly suspect meth was involved, and the investigation continues.
