Here's a story for every kid who has ever wanted to ditch school!
A little boy dreaded going back to school after the Christmas break so much that he glued his hand to his bed.
Diego Martinez Palacios sneaked into the kitchen of his home early on Jan. 7 to get the glue, which he slathered on his hand before returning to his bedroom.
He then grabbed the frame of his bed.
His mother found him watching TV with his hand stuck to the bed.
She spent nearly two hours trying to free the 10-year-old's hand with water, oil and nail polish remover, before giving up and calling for help from emergency services.
Diego says the reason he glued his hand to the bed was because he couldn't sleep so he decided he didn't feel like going to school.
In the end, it took the skill of a team of paramedics to get Diego unstuck, just in time for his mother to take him to the bus.
