Bowling Green Police are investigating the theft of a Bobcat from a construction site. Sometime Sunday night, March 6, a 2001 Bobcat Loader Model 773 and its trailer, were stolen from Torridge Avenue in the Thames Valley subdivision off Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
The suspect backed a pickup up to the red 20-foot flat bed utility trailer, and stole the Bobcat valued at $28,000. Police believe the suspect vehicle is a two-wheel truck, because skid marks in the mud make it appear it got stuck at one point.
If you know anything about this Bobcat theft, please call Crime Stoppers at 781-CLUE, or click here to go to their Web site. You can earn up to $1,000 for your anonymous tip.
