Bowling Green police say two women and an infant were robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of the Kyoto Restaurant on Scottsville Road at 7:40 p.m. Monday, March 28.

The first woman says a black male pointed a gun at her, then grabbed her purse off her shoulder as she sat in the driver's seat of her car at the Tower Place Center. Police say the man then pointed the gun at the second woman and her baby, and took her purse as well. He then told the ladies to drive off or he would kill them, and fled on foot with another subject behind Shoney's restaurant.

The gunman is described as a black male in his early 20s, 5’5” tall, weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. One of the stolen purses was recovered at the Smiths Grove exit of I-65.
