Crime Stoppers: Strong-Arm Robbery

By  |

For the third time in less than a year, a retail employee has been robbed while making a night deposit at the National City Bank branch in front of Greenwood Mall. An employee of Afterthoughts in the mall says she was robbed by a white male, who stole her bank bag and fled the evening of April 6.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s, 5-feet 6-inches tall, with a somewhat stocky build. He has sandy blonde hair, and was last seen wearing a red shirt, baggy blue jeans, and a black shirt around his face. In two similar robberies in July of last year, the suspect wore a black bandana over his face. A witness then, said the suspect might have left in a white Pontiac, possibly a Sunfire, with dark tinted windows.
