Book drive nets 1500 books for children

THE "HOMETOWN PARTNERS" HELP COMMUNITY EDUCATION COLLECT 15-HUNDRED BOOKS FOR CHILDREN THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY.
THE BOOKS WERE DISTRIBUTED THIS MORNING AT LEACHMAN BUICK G-M-C.
THE RECIPIENTS OF THE BOOK DRIVE INCLUDE THE SALVATION ARMY... THE PHOENIX HOUSE... FAMILY ENRICHMENT CENTER... BARREN RIVER AREA SAFE SPACE... AND THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES.
"A lot of children have to leave home with nothing..some children don't have a book...these have name plates in them to put their name in it.
THIS WAS THE SECOND YEAR FOR THE BOOK DRIVE CALLED "FOR THE LOVE OF BOOKS."
IT WAS THE FIRST YEAR THE HOMETOWN PARTNERS HAVE BEEN INVOLVED.
GREENVIEW REGIONAL HOSPITAL... LEACHMAN BUICK G-M-C... AND W-B-K-O SERVED AS DROP OFF LOCATIONS FOR THE CAMPAIGN.
