Bowling Green's City Commission will vote Tuesday on a severance package for outgoing City Manager Chuck Coates.
Coates, a 28-year veteran of the office, would receive his full salary and benefits through July 31, including vacation pay and insurance.
In return, Coates would agree not to sue the city for anything related to his resignation, including wrongful termination.
Coates was forced to resign last month in the wake of the Davis Cooper embezzlement scandal, in what some city commissioners called a series of "mismanagement failures."
