LEXINGTON, KY. (AP) -- An 18-year-old accused of shooting three people in Lexington says he's innocent.
The Lexington Herald-Leader reports that Edgar Vieyra of Georgetown entered a not guilty plea in Fayette District Court on Tuesday.
Vieyra is charged with three counts of first-degree assault and one count each of second-degree assault, first-degree burglary and violating a domestic violence order against him.
According to court documents, Vieyra used a rifle or shotgun to injure four people at a residence on Monday. He reportedly used the weapon to strike the fourth victim.
One of the people shot was a woman who had a domestic violence order against Vieyra.
