Meet the Blythe family.

Ann-Marie is the mom. She says: "Austin weighed 4-1, Conner weighed 3-12, and Dalton was 4-12."

The triplets are now 13 months old and very healthy boys. But they were born premature.

Ann-Marie says: "The day they were born, they were born at Greenview, and the director of women's services came and asked us if we would be the Ambassador Family because all three were premature and that's what the March of Dimes is all about."

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortality. They put much of their focus on preventing premature births by educating expectant mothers.

Ann-Marie says: "If we didn't have a March of Dimes the infant mortality rate would be a lot higher. And I may not have my three without what they've done."

Blythe says she wasn't sure if they were the right choice to be the ambassador family, since all three of her sons were born healthy. But after talking to one of the local March of Dimes representatives she changed her mind.

Ann-Marie says: "Why do you think they were so healthy? If it hadn't been for the March of Dimes and all the research they've done then they probably wouldn't have been."

Blythe had her fourth son, Evan last week. She says doctors were concerned he would be a preemie also. But he was a full term baby. Still Blythe credits the March of Dimes for helping her family and others for all they've done.

Ann-Marie says: "It helps get the awareness out there. People know that there is help. They're trying to make sure this doesn't happen. And maybe get rid of premature births."

Blythe says she would still like to have a daughter but she wants to wait a while before having another baby.

The Blythe family and many others will be raising money for the March of Dimes this weekend. The March of Dimes Warren County "Walk America" is Saturday at Russell Sims Aquatic Center. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 10.
