Crazy Eddy's Furniture Warehouse, where people can get furniture for cheap, but some people didn't get their furniture at all.
Janet Elliott says she ordered almost 1,000 dollars worth of furniture, "they told me it was on back order ... said hey, if you ever find anything Ashley brand you like, come back here and we'll get you the best price. So, I found something Ashley ordered it on March third and they said it would be in in about 2 and a half weeks."
Two months later, Elliott is still without furniture.
"I've been trying to contact them since April 30th and evidently they had locked the doors," she says.
Elliott says she has not been able to get a hold of anyone with the warehouse and she's not alone.
According to the Better Business Bureau, they've been getting complaints since 2009, "I do know they have 42 complaints against them, 30 of them they have not even responded to," says Linda Chambers with the BBB.
Giving Crazy Eddy's an "F" rating.
"I've never ordered from them in the past, but I had purchased from him in the past and just stuff that was off the floor. Never had any problems, they seemed nice and gained my trust per say. So, I didn't think to check them out, I didn't think to go to the BBB, they'd been in business here. I didn't think to do any of that and I wish I had," says Elliott.
"They just don't really seem to care that complaints have been filed against them," says Chambers, "and they have moved around a lot that always is a big red flag."
Chambers says while the Better Business Bureau can't prosecute, they're there to try and prevent this from happening.
Elliott has filed in small claims court, but according to Chambers, there are other options.
"These people who do have complaints can contact the Attorney General who does have prosecutor authorities."
"I think what everyone wants is, they want their money back!," says Elliott, "we've invested a lot of money and to some people that's not a lot but for some people it is!"
WBKO tried several attempts to contact the store, but like many others had no luck.
