Crime Stoppers: Stolen Colt and Trailer

By Gene Birk |

The Warren County Sheriff's Department is investigating the theft of a horse trailer and a six-month-old colt. Sometime between 3:30 and 4 a.m. on April 30, a silver 30-foot Featherlite horse trailer was stolen from a farm in the 3300 block of Claypool Boyce Road in Alvaton.

A witness says an old pickup pulled the trailer out of the barn. What the thieves might not have known at the time, is that a six-month-old Palomino Walking Horse colt was inside. The colt is yellow with a white tail. It's a gooseneck trailer with a v-shaped front, and two escape doors on the left side, one in the front and one in the back.

If you know anything about this stolen colt and trailer, please call Crime Stoppers at 781-CLUE, or click here to get to the Crime Stoppers Web site.

You could earn up to $1,000 for your anonymous tip.
