Tennessee Fugitive Shot by Trooper Arraigned

A Tennessee fugitive shot in Bowling Green Thursday, now sits in jail on a $500,000 cash bond, awaiting his preliminary hearing next Wednesday.

Alfonso Coutueras Camacho was captured by Kentucky State Police Thursday, after being shot in the leg by a trooper. Camacho had reportedly pointed a gun at the trooper, after the officer had told him to stop running from the police.

Camacho had allegedly fled police when they arrived at the construction site where he was working. He is wanted in Tennessee for allegedly killing a man in Smyrna, and shooting the woman with him several times.
