Toddler Hit By Car, Killed In Bedford

BEDFORD, Ky. (AP) -- A toddler who ran onto a road at her family's yard sale has been struck and killed by a car.

Kentucky State Police said the incident occurred in Trimble County late Thursday morning. The 2-year-old girl's name wasn't immediately released. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers have not filed charges against the 21-year-old driver. The death occurred on Highway 421 North in Bedford.
