After hours the computers at Warren Central High work to help doctors in Louisville fight cancer.
Doctor John Trent, with the University of Louisville's James Graham Brown Cancer Center, uses the computers when students are out of school to make millions of calculations needed to help with cancer research.
Dataseam, out of Louisville, coordinated the effort. The executive director says by linking computers across the state, it's a more inexpensive way of fighting the disease.
As part of the program, Doctor Trent visited Warren Central High to discuss cancer facts and figures, as well as his research.
Educators hope the kids take this information and learn more about cancer research, and this new technology.
