An area once filled with empty fields is becoming very busy.
Construction just started on a new McDonald's off of Nashville Road near the Campbell Lane intersection.
Other businesses are expected to follow.
As Nashville Road expands into four lanes over the course of the next several years, the City-County Zoning Commission wants those living near the road to give them advice on how to manage development.
