If you're looking for a new job in Bowling Green there are plenty of employers waiting to hear from you.
That's the economic outlook from a new manpower survey released today.
40% of local companies surveyed say they plan to hire more employees between July and September.
Another 60% say they plan to keep their current staffing levels.
That represents a significant increase over this time last year and puts Bowling Green at the top of the list statewide for positive job growth potential.
"It's extraordinary news, and really not only are we creating jobs but we're seeing people move to our community to fill those jobs," said Jim Hizer, President of the Bowling Green Chamber of Commcerce.
Bowling Green's chamber of commerce says an average of 40 families a week are moving into South Central Kentucky which means there will be plenty of competition for good jobs.
