Warren County magistrates have approved a project that'll give the Stormwater Management Department badly needed office space, better utilization of office space and better service for its customers.
"We're going to put all of our offices in one area so if somebody has a question for any of the departments, we can be in the same general location."
In addition to renovating office space, Director Jack Wright says the county will also consolidate the Stormwater Management Department, Building Inspectors and Environmental Planning and Assistance Departments.
"We're looking to increase productivity by this consolidation and I think it will help us meet objectives."
The county will open bids for renovation of the office space June 23rd. Only contractors who attended last week's pre-bid meeting can submit proposals.
